The School of Nursing and Allied Health Professions at Laurentian University invites applications for a 12-month
limited-term Faculty appointment, with duties to be assigned in French nursing programs.
Laurentian University, located in Sudbury, Ontario, serves over 8000 students and is one of two bilingual

About the Position
The incumbent will teach primarily in the French Nurse Practitioner program but may also be called upon to teach in the
other francophone nursing programs.
Essential Qualifications
● Fully bilingual in French and English.
● Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Ontario (registered nurse extended class), or in another jurisdiction with the
intention to receive a NP license in Ontario prior to commencing this position.
● Completion of a Master’s degree in nursing or related field
● At least 4 years full time practice as a Nurse Practitioner
● Recent teaching experience at the university level
● Participation in research is an asset.
