Faith Donald is a nurse practitioner with a clinical background in acute, long-term, and primary health care. She graduated from the Ontario PHCNP Program in 2000. Faith has research experience in primary health care, long-term care, and oncology advanced practice nursing. She is a Professor Emerita in the Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing, Ryerson University. Faith graduated with a Ph.D. in Nursing from McMaster University in June 2007. Her thesis was entitled: Collaborative Practice by Nurse Practitioners and Physicians in Long-Term Care Homes: A Mixed Methods Study. Along with her Ph.D. studies, Faith also earned a Graduate Diploma in Health Services and Policy Research. She completed a two-year postdoctoral award from the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation in January 2009. Faith is currently involved in research studies regarding NPs in primary health care and acute care.
