Continuing Professional Development - Prescribing Narcotics and Controlled Substances

This module introduces the therapeutic application of narcotics and controlled substances along with the legal and professional competencies and responsibilities required by prescribers.

The COUPN PHCNP Program awards outstanding contributions to Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Education.

On August 20, 2015 The Council of Ontario University Programs in Nursing (COUPN) Primary Health Nurse Practitioner Program (PHCNP) Program celebrated its 20th Anniversary.

There were 4 award recipients in the areas of teaching, teaching innovation, and contribution to nursing education by agencies and preceptors.

The PHCNP Program was privileged to celebrate the enthusiasm, commitment and sheer hard work of the 10+ years’ service award recipients.

Winners of the 20th Anniversary PHCNP Awards were:
